Field Center for Entrepreneurship

Field Center for Entrepreneurship

The Field Center for Entrepreneurship (The Field Center) serves as a regional hub for entrepreneurial programming and guidance, business excellence promotion and network development. The Field Center has been growing swiftly since its launch in January 2016.

The Field Center currently focuses on the following programs that serve Ariel’s local and regional populations:

  • Seminars led by academic and business professionals.
  • Workshops led by the inspiring lecturers provide the high quality, cutting edge small business tools and tailor made services to guide and sustain success.
  • Free counseling for small businesses provided by professional, academic, governmental and private sector experts.

With additional funding, the Field Center hopes to incorporate a number of additional programs, including…

  • Grants, awards, and loans for qualifying small business owners;
  • Internships;
  • International ambassadors to tell the Ariel story from the Entrepreneurship lens.

Current and Previous Field Center projects include:

FIGA Accelerator – the FIRST Accelerator in Samaria and designed, facilitated, and executed by the Field Center. FIGA helps provide chosen small businesses with the know-how and practical tools that are needed to go global for companies from the Judea and Samaria region.

LadyBug was the first coding program in Samaria – this particular course being geared towards women – giving them the actual tools to innovate and further their careers. The Field Center is currently building a new brand for all our coding programs, for both men and women, titled “Field Coding”.

Field Center Hub – the first co-working space in Samaria! The Hub operates within the Ariel Young Adults Center and offers 10 workstations plus a spacious conference room.

Pre Accelerator program in Samaria. The Pre A was a full house, with 17 participants who were taken deep into the world of a serial entrepreneur who made many mistakes but came out the other end on top!

The Field Center for Entrepreneurship would not be what it is today without the support of the late Larry Field and his wonderful family. Larry Field was a successful entrepreneur himself and we are certain the Field Center will continue on as his legacy.

American Friends of Ariel thanks the Field Family Foundation of Beverly Hills for their generous, ongoing support for the Field Center for Entrepreneurship. We welcome additional partners to join this exciting endeavor, one initiative at a time.
