Bar/Bat Mitzvah Programs

Every Jewish child deserves a meaningful Bar or Bat Mitzvah experience – to mark the traditional coming-of-age ceremony at age 12 or 13.

Bar/Bat Mitzvah ceremonies involve a significant amount of preparation and guidance so each teen and their family members can invest time in learning more about their faith.

Our Bar/Bat Mitzvah programming caters to young adults from different denominations, including members of the secular, traditional, and Orthodox communities.

Participants receive guidance through every step of the way – from the initial preparatory stages to the ceremony itself – and with close involvement of the entire family in the process.

Support is directed to the cost of mentoring, group programs, experiential travel and gifts for the young women and men of the Ariel community as they come of age.
