Adult Torah Study Programs

While largely a secular city, many residents of Ariel are interested in connecting to their Jewish heritage through a variety of programs.

American Friends of Ariel is proud to support Torah study programs for groups of adults who have chosen to continue their Jewish education by studying traditional Jewish texts.

Two groups – a group of retirees, and a group of local women – have embarked on a journey in recent years to enrich their Jewish knowledge through a series of morning lectures. Both groups not only are learning more about their heritage, but are also learning more about themselves and each other – and building a special sense of camaraderie in the process.

Both programs aim to provide a high-quality learning environment on-par with Jewish adult education programs across Israel’s. Additional funding is needed to help them continue to provide engaging speakers and sponsor programming.
