Ariel’s Youth Center (AYC) is a community-based after-school environment where teens engage in voluntary and extracurricular activities.
The AYC has recently incorporated a new project – Krembo’s Wings – into its programming. Krembo’s Wings is a fully inclusive youth group that integrates both disabled and fully enabled children. Local youth participate in a range of roles, from participants to group leaders. This exciting model for Ariel’s younger generation is already underway, though important accommodations have yet to be completed.
In order to operate the new project at full capacity, updates for the AYC structure, specialized furniture, and equipment are required. With these modest yet integral developments in place, Krembo’s Wings will be fully accessible to all participants.
