A Salute to City Volunteers

On July 21, the city of Ariel honored 29 volunteer agencies for their unique and ongoing contributions to the city, in a special ceremony sponsored by Friends of Ariel and Faith Bible Chapel.

Mayor Eliyahu Shaviro announced the organizations being honored, and noted Friends of Ariel’s work in providing funding for vital city services and fostering community life.

He then presented the awards, followed by a fun-filled comedy presentation from improv comedian Dvir Bendek.

• Ariel’s National Service (Sheirut Leumi) community
• Parents’ Committee
• The Yachad B’Ariel organization
