Ariel’s teenage hip hop group, “Criss Cross,” beat out 15 other groups at the Grande Prix international hip hop competition in Barcelona, Spain on April 18. Other countries competing include Italy, Belgium, the United States. Their performance garnered a flurry of compliments from both the judges and coaches of the other groups, with the United States coach remarking at the award ceremony: “I’m envious of how you succeeded to tell the story and moved the entire audience with an unforgettable performance.”
Ariel continues to lead in dance. Just last month, the Ariel International Folk Dance troupe swept top awards at the national “Super Dance” competition held in Rishon L’Tziyon.
