Ariel Hydrotherapy Center

A Critical Therapeutic Resource for a Recovering Community

Background

The Ariel Hydrotherapy Center is being developed to meet an urgent and rapidly growing need for therapeutic rehabilitation services, especially in light of the ongoing war and its profound physical and emotional impact.

There is currently no hydrotherapy pool in Ariel or in any of the surrounding towns (within a 40 km radius), an area home to approximately 80,000 residents.

This lack of access forces wounded IDF soldiers, children with special needs, and elderly residents to travel daily to Ramat Gan or Tel Aviv for treatment, preventing many from receiving the consistent care they require.

Strategically located opposite the Lowell Milken Family Sports and Recreation Complex, the new Hydrotherapy Center will complement Ariel’s developing network of rehabilitative and wellness services, creating an essential resource for the community.

Project Description

The center will provide a dedicated, professional space for hydrotherapy treatments that support mobility, reduce pain, and promote physical and emotional recovery.

It will operate as part of a broader rehabilitation campus that includes:

  • Emotional and psychological treatment sessions

  • Support groups for wounded soldiers and vulnerable populations

  • Mind and Body therapies

Together, these services will form a comprehensive healing environment for individuals coping with trauma, injury, and chronic conditions.

Target Populations

The Hydrotherapy Center will serve several key groups:

  • Wounded IDF Soldiers
Providing specialized rehabilitation tailored to the unique needs of those injured during the ongoing war.

  • Elderly Residents
Delivering treatments that reduce pain, improve mobility and balance, and enhance overall quality of life for seniors coping with chronic conditions.

  • Children with Special Needs
Offering essential therapeutic sessions for children who currently lack access to this critical care modality.

  • Individuals of All Ages
Serving patients referred by HMOs and community members requiring rehabilitative care for orthopedic, neurological, or mobility challenges.
