Something for Everyone at Ariel’s Summer Camps

BakingMore than 300 children from across Ariel’s neighborhoods have been participating in local summer camps this year. According to Avi Zimmerman, Director of the American Friends of Ariel, the camps are a great example of the success of Ariel’s community life.

“Summer camp is a time for Ariel’s kids to develop their personal worlds, engage in new experiences and build friendships,” Zimmerman said. “With activities as time-honored as painting and those as modern as robotics and communications, Ariel’s summer camps offer something for every child.”

DaytripAriel’s summer camps include programming as varied as robotics and baking, drama, and drumming circles. Older children can choose from among specialty camps like camps for gymnastics, soccer, hip hop, or media, while younger kids enjoy a variety of traditional camp activities like arts and crafts, woodwork, swimming, and board games. Both older and younger age groups also visit nearby points of interest like an outdoor safari and petting zoo.

So what makes Ariel’s summer camps so special? That’s easy! They’re in our favorite place in Israel, the City of Ariel.
