A delegation of Swedish pro-Israel parliamentarians and political activists visited Ariel on February 12, 2014 to express support for and learn more about the game-changing city, especially as anti-Israel sentiment grows in Scandinavia. We started off with our traditional overview on the comfortable velvet chairs at the Ariel Regional Center for Performing Arts followed by a visit to the Ariel Regional Firefighters Station, where the Swedes expressed particular interest in joint rescue efforts between Israelis and Palestinians. We are confident they returned to Sweden better equipped to make the case for Israel, and particularly Judea and Samaria, and to influence public opinion.
