Ariel University Leaves an Impression in Tel Aviv and in Los Angeles

AU-Scholarships1

While Ariel University’s campus was covered in snow during last week’s storms, students from the university’s Moskowitz School of Communications gathered in Tel Aviv’s Cinematheque for a gala screening of the student’s feature films.

Scholarships were distributed to three students following the event. Ms. Ruth Brandt, who sponsored the generous scholarships, was first touched by Ariel University far from Ariel and far from Tel Aviv.

The connection between Ruth and the university’s film and TV track students first began in Los Angeles, where the Ariel Breakfast Club – a program inspired by the John Hughes classic “The Breakfast Club”, explored what a parallel scenario would look like in Israel – gathering students from different backgrounds in the same room for unique student encounters. Ms. Brandt was moved by these films and decided to present scholarships to those taking part in the extraordinary program.

We are honored by the Ms. Brandt’s ongoing friendship and support for Ariel, Ariel University and its future generations of students.
