David Cerjan led the Faithwalk International group on a meaningful visit to Ariel following the Holiday of Succot. He’s continuing a strong tradition, which his parents Pat and LTG (Ret.) Paul Cerjan began decades ago. They’ve shared their personal love for Israel with so many, transforming their personal emotion into an international movement.
The group enjoyed exceptional performances from Ariel’s young International Dancing Troupe. Dancers age 7 – 16 performed a variety of folk dances, which originated in Russia, the Ukraine, the United States, Israel and more. Our guests
were so impressed by the young performers that they chose to sponsor new dancing shoes and costumes for the group.
The Following morning the group attended a moving performance by Ariel’s Senior Choir. Our visitors were entertained by their Russian accents while singing “Bill Bailey Won’t You Please Come Home”, and touched by their enthusiasm when they raised Israeli flags at the close of the song “Eretz Eretz Eretz (Land Land Land)”.
The last stop on the visit was the Ariel National Leadership Development Center, where the group members reaffirmed their strong commitment to Ariel, and their hopes for the generation of leaders that the ANLDC will bring forth.
