Milken Students Experience Ariel University

Twenty-five seniors from Milken Community High School in Los Angeles visited Ariel as part of their educational tour to Israel in April 2013. They got a taste of Ariel’s “Hollywood” with a brief tour of the television and radio studios at Ariel University‘s School of Communications, followed by a brief explanation about the university and a Q & A meeting with three students: a new immigrant from Florida studying Nutrition, an architecture student, and an Arab student studying for a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology. The students asked many questions, inquired about overseas programs, student life, and the location of the university. We are confident they left enriched with a positive sense of Ariel and Ariel University’s essential role in Israeli life. We trust that these experiences will further prepare them for a meaningful university experience of their own.
