The Rabin Hadassah Chapter of Boynton Beach which has been in Israel as part of the Hadassah Women’s Zionist Organization of America Centennial celebrations made a whistle-stop visit to Ariel on October 21.
The group was awed by the Ariel Regional Center for the Performing Arts where they received an introduction to the history of Ariel and gained a better understanding of the biblical heritage of Samaria and its relationship to the State of Israel.
They were then entertained by the Russian Seniors’ Choir who sang the song ‘Ariel, Ariel’ in Russian and Hebrew. This was followed by a visit to the Ariel Industrial Park where the group toured the Lipski factory and met with Israeli and Palestinian factory workers who receive equal employment opportunities at the park.
The visit continued with a driving tour of the Netzarim Community and Ariel University. The group was then taken to the Lowell Milken Family Sports & Recreation Complex – Ariel’s very own ‘country club.’
Ariel wishes Hadassah’s Boynton Beach chapter ‘Mazal Tov’ on its centennial celebrations and hopes for 100 more years of a fruitful partnership with Israel and hopefully, Ariel!
