American Friends of Ariel is fully committed to the well being, success and development of the city's residents. Each of the various projects that we support is geared towards people. From the National Youth Leadership Development Park to the new Sports and Recreation Complex, from educational projects to welfare, from religious life to community programming, we focus on Ariel's precious people. It goes without saying, of course, that the residents of Ariel play a primary role in the city's unsurpassed successes.

Volunteers
American Friends of Ariel has recently begun to reach out to volunteers. We've discovered that many people are looking to help Israel and the Jewish people in a meaningful way. Our volunteers understand that by focusing their time and energies on the City of Ariel they are creating an impact that directly affects Israel's future. Interest in volunteering is picking up speed. Our volunteer staff in Israel continues to grow. More recently, volunteers from around the world have begun to organize and mobilize support for the City of Ariel and its people. With all that needs to be accomplished each and every volunteer makes a real difference.

Visitors
Groups and individuals visit the City of Ariel frequently. First time visitors and returning visitors always find their visit to Ariel meaningful. In Ariel they come in contact with a reality that is very distant from what they imagine. Whether on a brief or extended visit, the myths of Samaria are quickly dispelled and replaced with a genuine respect for everything that the city has accomplished and for what it represents. A visit to Ariel leaves a lasting impression, connecting the visitor to the city and to its people in a meaningful way. It is for that reason that we consider our visitors People of Ariel.
