Friends of Ariel is pleased to announce our 2013 kick-off initiative: the first-ever
"Run for Ron" program - an exciting run-a-thon in honor of Mayor Ron Nachman, on behalf of the City of Ariel.
What started as an idea is quickly becoming a reality. Executive Director of Ariel Development Fund, Avi Zimmerman, decided that the best way to celebrate the City of Ariel's 35th birthday is by following in Mayor Ron Nachman's footsteps, pushing the limits and "running for Ron". Now, increasing numbers of Ariel residents are signing up for the run.
Each runner is committed to a project in the City of Ariel that is in need of your support! The runners are all seeking sponsorship ahead of the marathon. In addition to offering their own personal donation; they will attempt to raise money, by taking part in a 10 week training program right here in Ariel!
Every week, the runners will join together to train for the 10k run and every week American Friends of Ariel will highlight one project – 10 projects for 10 weeks for 10k…
By supporting these projects you will be helping the Ariel runners reach their goals, to both to complete the 10K run and to in aiding their community with projects that are close to their hearts.
Each week American Friends of Ariel will highlight one of the following projects, just click on the links below to find out more!
We have set up a special Running For Ron page where you can follow the runners' progress and see how much support each project is receiving.
