Some 20 members of Ariel’s ‘youth parliament’ were given the opportunity to replace the city’s regular municipality managers and employees for a day.

 

The chairperson of the parliament, Lidor Ben Margi, had the honor of replacing Mayor Ron Nachman. She said she learned that a lot of work and effort goes into the day to day operations of Ariel, and that it is not easy to run a city, nor raise funds. At the end of the work day, a closing session was held where each participant shared his or her experiences, and the knowledge that they gained from their taste of public service.
