Torah Scrolls Dedicated at Ariel University

IDF Chief Rabbi, Rafi Peretz, and former Justice Minister Yaakov Neeman

Two Torah schools have been dedicated at Ariel University’s beautiful new main synagogue. Beit Shalom. Good friends of Ariel, Hannah and Simon Fallic, donated a Torah scroll in name of Hannah’s father, Beinish Lekach, in the presence of the rabbi of the Western Wall, Rabbi Shmuel Rabinovitch; Minister of Culture Limor Livnat; and other dignitaries.

Yisrael and Bilha Keren of Ra’anana dedicated a scroll in honor of Bilha’s brother, Aharele Katz, who fell in action as an Israeli Air Force navigator during the First Lebanon War. The joyous ceremony was held in the presence of the Chief Rabbi of the Israel Defense Force, Rafi Peretz; former Justice Minister, Yaakov Neeman; and other dignitaries.
