In honor of their 15th anniversary, and in light of the need to renew the facility's equipment, the Ariel Youth House needs your help. They received generous assistance, providing them with completely new computers and software systems, sound equipment and office equipment.

The Ariel Conference for Law and Mass Media

The Ariel University Center (AUC) continues to move towards reaching the status of Israel's seventh full-fledged university. In the interim, AUC will hold its popular Conference for Law and Mass Media on April 2, with an all-star group of speakers and presenters.

 
Ariel Mayor, Ron Nachman, to Receive the Youth Movements’ Honorary Member Award
Matan, the youth movement council in Israel, is presenting this year’s Honorary Member Award to the Mayor of Ariel, Ron Nachman.
 
Hanukkah Celebration at Antenna Hill
The light of Hanukkah was evident on a rainy, cloudy night on the lonely army post of Antenna Hill, just outside of Ariel. Ariel volunteers from the Friends of the IDF visited the post to bring some holiday spirit to the soldiers. The Hanukkiyah was lit with joy and singing.
 
New Rescue Fire Truck Gives Ariel Mayor a Lift
The city of Ariel received a nice Chanukah present from the Israeli government this week. The Ariel Fire Department finally received two new shiny red fire trucks. One of the trucks came equipped with a long awaited tower ladder, which is necessary for fighting fires in tall buildings.
 
A Breath of Fresh Air in the Mountains of the Shomron
Rabbi Hillel and Dr. Yael Maizels have led the Ohel Efraim synagogue and community here in Ariel since 2008. Yael shares their experiences, their vision and their joy in contributing to Ariel's diversified community life. 
 
South Korean Ambassador in Ariel
Ariel was honored last month by a visit from South Korean ambassador, Ilsoo Kim. Mr. Kim said he wanted to see Judea and Samaria with his own eyes, and the City of Ariel was happy to oblige. 
 
 
South Carolina Rep. Alan Clemmons in Ariel  
The City of Ariel was pleased to welcome Representative, Alan Clemmons, of the great state of South Carolina. He represents District 107 - Horry County. Mr. Clemmons stopped in Ariel as part of a two-week fact-finding mission of Israel. In particular, he was interested in seeing Judea and Samaria with his own eyes.
